Electrostatic Discharge Protection

Clause:

Goods ordered by this purchase order/contract require electrostatic protection and must be properly packagedand identified. The Seller shall ensure that ESD protection is compliant with applicable Boeing standards andspecification. All goods must be shipped with their leads electrically shorted together in noncorrosive,conductive foam or other suitable method of packaging. All goods shall be placed in conductive or staticdissipative packages, tubes, carriers, conductive bags, etc., for shipment. The packaging shall be clearlylabeled to indicate that it contains electrostatic sensitive goods. NOTE: Lead shorting is not required for goodssuch as Dual Inline Packages (DIP's) shipped in conductive rails or tubes.
