MIL-S-901D SHOCK REQUIREMENTS

Clause:

"This equipment shall be qualified for shock in accordance with Appendix L and as specified herein.When qualified by test, the shock test shall be in accordance with Appendix L, MIL-S-901D (as amended by Appendix L). Ordering data for shock testing corresponding to paragraph 6.2 of MIL-S-901D are as follows:(A) Military Specification MIL-S-901D dated March 17, 1989, Shock Test, H.I. (High Impact) Shipboard Machinery, Equipment, And Systems, Requirements For(B) *(C) *(D) *(E) *(F) *(G) *(H) *(I) *(J) *(K) *(L) The shock tested items are to be post shock test examined and reconditioned in accordance with the applicable equipment specifications and Appendix L and shipped as part of this order.(M) ** The information required for these items is contained in the body of this purchase order.When Qualified by Analysis (QBA) is indicated in ordering data Line (B), above, the analysis shall be in accordance with Appendix L, NAVSEA 0908-LP-000-3010, Ordering Data Lines (C), (D), (F), (G), (H), AND (M), above, and the specific shock qualification requirements provided by the governing specification for this equipment.NOTE: Should similar or identical equipment have been qualified in accordance with the above requirements, extension of that qualification to this equipment will be considered. Request for extension shall be accompanied by the supporting evidence required by Appendix L, including the navy approval letter."
