ROTEC I Series

RIX Industries' ROTEC series of compressors are ideal for military aerospace applications including pneumatic weapon ejection and missile seeker cooling. These advanced, direct-drive, oil-less systems are currently used on the F/A-18E/F military aircraft, and incorporate critical moisture and carbon dioxide removal technologies. 

The ROTEC I miniature compressor is also ideally suited for military and rugged ground vehicle applications that require compressed air to perform various mission critical functions. Because of the compact nature of ROTEC I, the system can be installed almost anywhere on military land vehicles. At less than 7 lbs., the ROTEC I also minimizes the impact to vehicle weight. The compressed air can be used to power vehicle ride height systems (nitrogen or air), provide high pressure air to pneumatically open heavily armored doors in emergency egress situations. The compressor can also be used to positively pressurize the crew areas within the vehicle to help prevent ingress of NBC contaminates, power air brakes and provide compressed air for breech clearing. A single compressor can perform multiple functions which will save cost, weight and space required.
